Note to recruiters: This is my portfolio project from recent years. Due to NDA restrictions, I can't showcase recent CRM work but happy to discuss my problem-solving approach. I have redesign projects in progress though - stay tuned!

Problem

Quickstar, a company dedicated to propelling aspiring musicians to stardom, faced the challenge of efficiently managing diverse orders, including music production, marketing, distribution, and voice processing services. This complexity was compounded by the need to oversee a team, multiple studios, and dynamic service offerings in the bustling music hub of London.

Solution

To address this challenge, Quickstar implemented an easy-to-use web app. This solution streamlined the management of orders, employees, studios, and provided services, offering a comprehensive and efficient tool for navigating the intricacies of running a city-wide music-focused company.

Design decisions

– To maintain a sense of realism, I incorporated relevant currency symbols and used real-like avatars and names to reflect the multiculturalism of London. Additionally, I focused on creating accurate and engaging copywriting, realistic photos, and comprehensive service descriptions.

– I had inclusivity in mind when creating the light mode, aiming for better contrast. I ensured that the app feels welcoming to all users.

– To ensure consistency in the project, I utilized Figma features such as styles, variables, and components. I intentionally chose to use a single icon pack.

– To give the project a sleek and modern appearance, I transformed the original light mode using the Black Mode Magic Figma plugin.

Inclusive design

I intended the app to be welcoming to all users and aimed for it to reflect the inclusivity of the music world itself. When it comes to project avatars, they represent individuals from diverse cultures, mirroring the multicultural environment of London, where the company operates.
